Dear Darlene and Family, I was very sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I had recently mailed a card to your mom's home on Southdale Road when your dad passed and I hope you have received it. I worked with your mom at Downtown Zellers for approximately 13 years. I remember your dad and you coming in regularly to see your mom. We were a very close knit staff at that store and we always shared in each other's happy and sad times. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the funeral for Betty as my dad passed away this week. I will be thinking of you though and pray for added strength in all you have had to deal with recently. With Sincere Sympathy, Cheryl Spencer

My condolences to the Platt family. Betty will be truly missed. Her special little candy bags she made at Halloween just for my son and his cousins. She was a very special person.

Darlene and family, We send you our deepest condolences to you on the passing of your lovely mother and grandmother. I know that Betty is glad to be back with Bill and we hope that this will give you some comfort. Bill told us that he was looking forward to their 51st Anniversary together and how he looked forward to having that Anniversary Waltz. Your parents will be missed at 1000 Southdale and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
