Rick, Joyce and family. Please accept my deepest sympathy at the loss of you father. I only met him a few times, however he seemed like a remarkable man and you will miss visiting with him as you did. He is now however at peace with the Lord and you will draw much comfort in that knowledge. Thinking of you. Bev and Pete

Mrs. Hoornweg: I was so sorry to read about Al's passing. I always looked forward to seeing Al when I lead the Parkinson's exercise class. You both were very supportive of the group, and Al will certainly be missed by his family and friends. You, Pam, and the rest of your family have my deepest sympathy. Lynn Annett

Dear Hetty, Rick, Josta, Laurette, Pam and families: It is with profound sadness that I am sending you my sincerest sympathies over the loss of Al. He was like a father to me, too. He was always so kind, generous and humourous. But he could also set me "straight" when I needed it, too - especially as a teenager. Despite living for so many decades away from Forest, he and Hetty would always welcome me back into their home. I will never forget him. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Mike Roelofsen
