Obituary of Cecile Marie Reid
Cécile Marie Arsenault-Reid June 6, 1924 – March 16, 2019 Born in Penetanguishene, Ontario to the late Wilfred and Exilda Forget. Wife of the late Philippe Arsenault (1953), and the late Larry Reid (1976). Survived by her son Richard Arsenault and his wife Monique, and daughter Sandra Reid-Henry and her husband Charles. Also survived by her son-in-law John Gagner, daughter-in-law Jean Arsenault; brothers Andrew and late Barbara Forget, Bernard and June Forget, and her sister Alpha Gauvin. She will be missed and forever remembered by her 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sons Maurice Arsenault (2008), Michael Arsenault (1976), Darrell Reid (1973); daughters Germaine Yazbeck (2008), and Patricia Gagner (2016); sisters Prima Wass, Theresa Michaud, Freda Lirette, Clara Charlebois; brother Gerard Forget; daughter-in-law Anne Arsenault (2004), and son-in -law Eddie Yazbeck (2006).
Very special friends Jean and Garry Schnekenburger, Joann and Bob Szucs, and Donna-Jean Turner will not be forgotten. A Celebration of Cécile’s Life will be held at The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 642, 29 William Street North, Chatham, on Saturday, April 6th, 2019 for 12 noon until 3pm. Donations in Cécile’s memory may be made to Community Living Chatham-Kent or charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to DENNING’S OF CHATHAM (519-352-2390).
