To Jean and family,
My sincerest condolences to all of the family at this difficult time. We certainly had some great times over the years through sports and co-workers at Rockwell International. You are all in our prayers.

Jean and George have been thoughtful and kind friends for many years. We met when my late husband , Glenn Griffin and George were in scouting together and as couples we spent lots of evenings playing cards and board games. George was both lucky and clever at cards. He especially enjoyed the card game of FanTan.
When we went mini golfing the winner would buy ice cream cones for all. George happily paid quite often,
One summer we enjoyed a holiday trip away, and had a great time
In the last few years, my friend Gary and I enjoyed playing cards with Jean and George and he was often the winner. We will remember him and miss him, but have great memories.
Our love and heartfelt condolences go to our dear friend, Jean and her family.

Sorry to hear of George's passing. First met George while assisting him one year that I was involved with his hockey team. He was a good level headed man, whom I never saw lose his temper. I hope he is at rest in a better place, overlooking his teams!

My codolences Jean and family. George was an important part of Scouting in Chatham. I took my Woodbadge training with George, and we enjoyed many years of Reuniions at Gilwell in Blue Springs Scout Reserve. There was always room for me to sleep in Georges trailer at Blue Springs, of which I was always thankful. We enjoyed singing together at many campfires. For some reason it always appeared to scare the animals away.
My deepest sympathy.
He was a very good Scouter..
