My wife Michelle and I have been blessed to have known Ron through our long standing, deep friendship with his brother Gary and sister-in-law Miriam. I met Ron for the first time at Gary and Miriam’s wedding and I witnessed right away Ron’s joy and delight over his brother’s good fortune. Being from the States we didn’t see Ron often, but through the years we caught a moment here or there where Ron was present. Each and every time Ron gave us a warm greeting and seemed happy for our time together. What has filled our hearts is the love and devotion toward Ron that we have witnessed all these many years coming from the entire Verslycken family. May each of you; Gary, Miriam, Matthew, Michael, and Laura experience peace over Ron’s passing and be filled with the knowledge that he lives on through you. We love you, Greg and Michelle.
