Bob was the first child and grandchild in our immediate family..His parents, grandparents and aunt and uncle were very pleased.
When he was just a young boy, I tried to interest him in learning to play the accordion. Unfortunately he didn't pursue this activity.
We grew close when he came to work at my restaurant. We worked hard, but managed to have fun. At the end of the day, we shared some good talks regarding business, family and world problems. We didn't solve anything, but I remember them fondly.
He went on to work successfully in the construction and real estate industries. This work brought him back to Canada.
We were able to reconnect in the last few years. I thought this was great.
It was a shock to lose you so suddenly and you will be sorely missed. Love "UJ" Uncle John
