My Condolences to the Liepman Family. Mary and I shared a room on the Maternity floor in St Thomas General in December 1964. Mary had a little girl, her first and I had a little boy, my second. We shared many happy hours together in the week before we were released. We vowed to get together in the future but life somehow gets in the way. I am sure she is with you in spirit. Mary and Winfrid welcomed us into our beautiful neighborhood many years ago and we continued to look out for each other. Mary was a pillar in our community and such a kind caring person. I will always remember the good times I shared with Mary whether it be our weekly card games, working along side of her in Women’s Institute or travelling to Toronto to Andre Rieu concerts. The Kiwanis Club of West Lorne sends our condolences to Winfred, their children and families on the passing of their cherished matriarch. Mary was a beloved friend of Kiwanis supporting Winfred in all of his endeavours with the club and community. I will remember Mary as willing to try new ventures even if she was not quite sure what it was, as long as it made Winfred happy. The honour and pleasure of knowing Mary for a long time was absent for myself though I felt like I had. I was welcomed warmly whenever I called or visited. I can truly understand the great void left with her passing.
