Our thoughts are with you from the Edmunds family. Our dad George Edmunds and Wayne were old friends, fellow firefighters and teammates for many years. We we hoping our Dad could make the Celebration of Life but he was not up to it. He is now in Blue Water Long Term Care in Zurich where he is getting wonderful care. We have included a picture of our Dad’s on the 1963-64 London Fire Fighter hockey team. I am sure they both shared some great times. Take care.

My sincere condolences to Wayne's beloved family and enormous circle of friends. It didn't matter who you were, he was always there to lend a helping hand. Many a time, he was there for people who weren't able to reciprocate and he would never expect anything in return. May he rest at ease.

Never a dull day when working with Wayne. He constantly kept us entertained and amused. Bragged often of his kids Jane, Joe and Jeff. He was a good firefighter and officer and it was a privilege to work with him. Rest In Peace Wayne.

My sincere condolences to the family on hearing of Wayne' passing. I was a friend first of Wayne, meeting him in the hockey rink in Glencoe. He played for one of my dads teams( not sure if it was the Highlanders or the Pontiacs) i was just a kid. finally meeting back up with him from the other side of the parts counter at Fulline Farm & Garden Equip. Ltd. He always had a joke to bring a smile from a frown and yes he was a walking encyclopedia of the history in this area. He will be missed. Stand down Chief, the last bell has rung, you've earned your rest.

Wayne was a great guy and a real beauty. One of the most genuine guys you will ever meet. Had many conversations with him at the rink at the garage or standing around town. Always had a story and words of incouragement. Supported all west lorne activities and enjoyed my last conversation with him at the west lorne high school and alumni kraft hockeyville game. You were a legacy in this community and will be forever. Now RIP your fight is over. Shiner

A great man everyone’s friend. If you were looking for something he could find it, if you needed advice he would give it. If you needed a hand he would lend it and if you ever wanted to hear a good story he told it. Unlike many tall tales his were true. He will be greatly missed. Morning chats over coffee just won’t be the same. Our deepest condolences to the family. Christine & Mike
