I met Jamie in 2012 when i started working with Variform . He was always good to me and I had a great appreciation of his sarcasm and wit. Anyone who knew him liked him and enjoyed working with him . As he got sick , I would check in on him. I haven't been working directly with Variform for the last year are so but I was pleased to here he came back to work and saddened that he had to leave work again . I will always have great memories of him and thankful I was able to know him .

I grew up in Newbury and was friends with Eric and Jamie since I was 10. We all grew up and moved but I was lucky enough to reconnect with Jamie in March and we were close friends again. I miss my friend very much but I am so grateful I was able to be a part of his journey.

I got to know Jamie through my son Ryan. I had the pleasure to golf with Jamie at fundraisers. Andrea and I and two friends were at Roy’s restaurant in Strathroy for breakfast. When I went to pay the bill for four of us, I was told that Jamie had seen us and prepaid for our breakfasts, what a kind person Jamie is, thank you, we were so Grateful. We need a cure now for cancer, I lost someone very very CLOSE to me from cancer. Sorry for your loss. Ken A.

I am absolutely saddened to hear the news about Hamish tonight. Jamie and Eric played such a huge part in my childhood and that will never be forgotten. Although I hadn’t seen Jamie in at least 25 years, I won’t forget his wild fun and sometimes crazy sense of adventure. From puberty to getting licenses and racing cars down the gravel roads, from road hockey to tipping back a few too many. I will never forget him. My condolences to all of his family on the loss of such a great guy.

Jamie was a friend for nearly 20 years. I remember when I met him the first week he started at Vari-Form as I wasn’t quite sure how to take his puns and one-liners! Needless to say, they grew on me. We shared many adventures and experiences over the years. Through the highs and lows of life, Jamie was always positive and his caring and never ending willingness to help out anyone in need was inspiring. He was one of the luckiest guys I knew as well. Whether hitting it big at the Casino or hitting a golf Drive 100 feet into the tress and yet somehow have it bounce back in the middle of the fairway, it was always fun to be a part of. In reality, I was the lucky one for having the pleasure to have known Jamie. My wife Jen and I send our deepest condolences to Jamie’s family.

I am so sad to hear of Jamie's passing. He was a student at Mosa Central when I was a secretary there and got adopted by his forever family the MacFadden's. He was always such a quiet, caring, happy boy. Then later in my career I moved to Colborne Street School in Strathroy and low and behold he is a father of 2 of the students. He was a very caring father and you could tell he loved his kids very much. He's one of those students/fathers I will always remember. My condolences to Andrew and Brooke as well as the whole MacFadden family. RIP Jamie

Jamie was my neighbour way back when he grew up in newbury, I’ll always remember him with a big smile, cutting the grass and working around the house.
