Obituary of Darlene Lenora Kirschner

Peacefully, at Riverview Gardens, Chatham on Sunday, October 23rd, 2022, Darlene Lenora Kirschner (Chapman) slipped away to be with her Lord and Saviour at the age of 81. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ron (1998).
Darlene was the proud mother of Ronald Jr. (Susan), Sam (Sherry-Lynne) and Connie (Dennis) Toth. Dear grandmother of Denny, Joel, Nick, Alex and Kristen and great grandmother of Nolan, Beckett, Mabel, Jason and Nora. Survived by her brother Ken and her sister Beverly and predeceased by her sisters Jereen and Beatrice. Darlene was loved and will be remembered by all of her Kirschner family.
Darlene was Rodney’s well known and well loved “Queenie”. On top of her role as the great gatekeeper at the West Elgin landfill, she was an aerobics’ instructor for seniors and an active member of Calvary United Church.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 7-9 pm where friends are invited to join the family in celebrating Darlene’s life on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 at 11 am at Denning’s of Rodney, 212 Furnival Road. Interment to take place next to her husband Ron at Fairview cemetery, Dutton.
