To the family of Fred Welch My condolences to you! On Friday as I was traveling to West Lorne, I saw extra vehicles around the home on Pioneer Line and people outside dressed in black suits and other formal outfits so I presumed that Fred may have passed away and then later I noticed many trucks and cars parked at the funeral home with folk gathered outside so I figured that my presumption was correct. If I had known earlier I would have gone to the funeral home to pay my respects. It seems that your family has been one with whom I have had a connection for many years. I truly admire the respect that all of you have had for Fred and each other. His illness has taken many of you much personal time of caring for his needs and you are to be commended for your continued love and sacrifices.
