Mrs Whitbourn An Family, Mr Whitbourn taught me grade 5 at Centennial School outside of Petrolia. He was one of my favourite teachers and first male teacher at that time, (1975). I have many fond memories of his enthusiasm and passion for teaching. I ran into him many years later at the Maple syrup festival in 1994 with my husband and 2 daughters and remember quite fondly how he said that many years had not gone by that quickly. Rest in peace to a kind man

I am a volunteer driver for the Canadian Cancer Society, I drove Fred many times to London and the trips were very interesting, He would talk about his teaching days and was a very knowledgble person, and I will miss those drives. My condolences to you Mrs Whitbourn and your family

I was very sad to hear of the passing of your father, Kelly and Gary. My thoughts and prayers are with both you, your families and especially your mother during this difficult time. I will remember your father fondly for many things, but especially his calm nature and presence no matter what the situation. He was a wonderful person and he'll be sadly missed.
