Obituary of Duncan McGregor

At home with his family, on June 10, 2011 Duncan Keith McGregor in his 72nd year, survived by his life partner and best friend Nancy (May) and his pride and joy, Laurie & Mark, Michael, Meagan and Stevie D. McGill, Jane & Lisa Hewitt, Karen & Brenden, and Jack Mac Heys. His brother Al and his family Shannon and Sean, brother in law, Vern Horton and his daughter Barbara. Forever remembered by Jim & Jane May, Ken and Janet Carruthers, Don and Margaret May and their families. Predeceased by his parents, Keith and Barbara, sister Jessie Horton and sister in law Suzanne McGregor. Duncan was an elder of the Argyle Presbyterian Church, Crinan. Former Pipe Major of the Argyle Pipe Band, Essex and Kent Scottish Regiment (C.D.) (17 years) and the London Forest City Irish Pipe Band. Friends may call at the WEST LORNE CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Monday, June 13, 2011 from 7-9 pm as well as Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 11am at the funeral home. Rev. Ryan Kim officiating. Interment Evergreen cemetery.
