Obituary of Robert Pembleton

PEMBLETON, Mr. Robert Charles "Pete" 1943-2011 Peacefully at Bluewater Health Services on Sunday, March 13, 2011, with his loving wife of 43 years by his side, Pete passed away in his 68th year. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Donna Mae (Rogers) and his three daughters Brenda, Crystal (Dave) and Rebecca (Kameron) Turner. Proud Papa of grandchildren D'Arby, Blake, Carly, and Evan. Beloved son of Olive (Dolly) Pembleton. Dear brother of Tom (Vicki) Pembleton. Dear brother in law of Wayne (Evie) Rogers. Beloved uncle of Paul (Brenna), Alaina (Aaron), Dawn (Deryck) and Shelly (Jeff). Predeceased by father Glen Pembleton (1992) and infant brother William (1955). Growing up in Warwick Village, Pete enjoyed playing baseball. His love of sports continued with his involvement in coaching his daughters in baseball and hockey. He was an employee with the Lambton County Board of Education for 25 years. Pete will be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Friends may call at the Forest Baptist Church, 19 Prince Street, Forest, Ontario, on Friday, March 18, 2011, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the church. For those who wish, donations to the Dr. Linda Bowring Palliative Care Centre at Bluewater Health Services, Canadian Cancer Society or to the Children's Hospital of Western Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
