Obituary of Alice Humphries

At St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, January 9, 2011, Alice Mae Humphries (Gammon) of West Lorne in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Archie, brothers Morley and Roy and sister Dora. Lovingly remembered by her daughters Pat Campbell of St. Thomas and Lynda (Doug) Winship of Poplar Hill; grandchildren Rhonda Payne (Tim Smith) of Salford, Paula (Gil) Henderson of St. Thomas, Rob (Tosh) Winship of Sarnia, Shaun (Lindsey) Winship of London; great-grandchildren Brittany Smith, Tyler and Emily Winship, Devin, Torrie, Gabriella and Cooper Henderson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Alice was a member of the West Lorne Baptist Church where she served as the organist and deaconess; member of the West Lorne Lawn Bowling Club and enjoyed Tai-chi. Funeral service will be held at the WEST LORNE CHAPEL of DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS LTD. on Thursday at 11am., Rev. Wayne Prevett and Rev. Adam Hall officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service.
