Dear Sharon, How sorry I was to hear of Marcia's passing. It has brought back a ton of memories of you, Marcy, your Mom and Auntie Blanche. We spent many fun-filled and happy hours together at your home, at church and at school. Please know that I am thinking of you and your family and that you are not alone. Sent with love. Annette

I have many varied memories from the day we met until our final outing for French fries under the Blue Water bridge. There was never any doubt about your love for your immediate or extended family. Dolly will miss you as a roommate. I will simply miss you. Love, Fred.

Here we were, we three cousins, all in the same room for the first time in over four decades; Sharon, Fred, Hugh and I were visiting Marcia at Sumac Lodge. We looked at photos taken of us together as little girls and took new photos. Marcia proudly showed us her home, her hobbies and a blanket she was knitting. Marcia and I soon discovered that we shared an interest in the Royal family - our conversation grew quite animated at that point! We met Dolly and had a wonderful time. I will always cherish the memories made that day and thank you, dearest Sharon, for making it all possible.

Dear Sharon, We are sorry for your loss. Our mom's were best friends. They retained that friendship over their lifetime. I will always fondly remember visits with you, Marcia, Auntie Blanche, and Muriel. Your mom was my God Mother, and while she was alive, she never missed giving me a call or a card on my birthday. I cannot think of your family without the word KINDNESS coming to mind. Mom, Jean, and I miss those interactions with your family. Marcia will be missed. love Marion

I will always remember Marcia's laugh and great sense of humour. Aside from the general family gatherings, at times like Christmas, where I would see Marcia, I was fortunate enough to be able to spend a number of days hanging out with Marcia whenever she would visit us in Carleton Place each summer. It is these times I will remember most and the great laughs and conversations we shared.

As I remember it, life was never simple. Our Mom worked very hard to raise Marcia and me. During school years in Tillsonburg, I tried to help. When Fred and I married, life changed for Marcia. These changes happen. After Mom passed away, I became more than a sister; I was our entire family for Marcia, and she for me. For me, Marcia was pain and joy, tears and laughter, anger and love . I shall think of you every day, Marc. I read once that people who have passed on, are closer to those who remain, than they were in life. I believe that may be true; I know that I think of Mom every day, and so it shall be for you. I love you, dear sis.
