Obituary of Stase Gaidauskas

GAIDAUSKAS, STASE THERESA (NEE CIPARIS) Passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her family at Four Counties Health Services on October 9th, 2010. Born in Sveksna, Lithuania January 4th, 1927. Stase lived her life abiding by the principles of love, honesty and loyalty. She passionately instilled these values in her children. Lover of good books, faraway places, family, colleagues and community programs like Soups On. Stase leaves behind her brother Frank Ciparis (Lionyte); children Laima VanTurnhout, Aldona (Randy) Scott, Daiva (James) McCandless, and Sylvia Gaidauskas. She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Mark, Shaun and Daiva McCandless, Emily and Matthew Scott and Sara VanTurnhout and great granddaughter Olivia Joy McCandless. Also lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews and family in Lithuania. She is predeceased by her husband Pranas Gaidauskas and brother George Ciparis. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Monday, October 11th, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 am at St. Marys church, West Lorne. Father T.
