Obituary of Kathleen Kennedy
KENNEDY, Mrs. Kathleen Mary
"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
Kathleen Mary Kennedy passed away peacefully at her residence in Forest, into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, June 27, 2010, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Charlie Lee Kennedy (2004). Loving mother of Walter Lee (Claudene) of Owen Sound, Sharon (Allen Clemens) of Forest, Rev. Kelvin (Shannon) of Brampton. Mother in law of Lorri of London. Predeceased by her son Philip (2008). Loving grandmother of Cindy (David Livingstone), Aaron (Kelly), Vanessa, Alysha (Matthew Montgomery), Melissa, Zachary, Rodney, Clarke and KayLee.
Special great grandmother of Heather, Graham, and Esther; Jackson and Brysen; and Chloe. Kathleen will also be fondly remembered by her sister in law Bernice, and by many nieces, nephews and friends. Survived by her brother Don of California, and sister Ann of Oregon. Predeceased by her father Don McCarty (1975), and mother Violet (Standen) McCarty (1993), sister Helen, and brother Richard.
Friends may call at the Fellowship Hall of Forest Baptist Church, 19 Prince Street (entry from Wellington Street), Forest, Ontario, on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, and on Thursday, July 1, 2010, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Forest Baptist Church on Thursday afternoon, July 1, 2010, at 2:30 pm with Pastor Laurie Morris officiating.
