Obituary of C. Laverne Goodhill

Unexpectedly at home on the farm in Warwick Township on Thursday, June 3rd, 2010. C. Laverne Goodhill in his 74th year. Laverne is predeceased by his first wife Shirley Goodhill (Blain) in 1992 and survived by his wife Mary Goodhill (Jackson). Laverne will be sadly missed by his children Greg and Lynn Goodhill; Brad and Dale Goodhill and by grandchildren David Goodhill and Dalton, Rebecca and Gracie Goodhill and extended family Mark and Darline Alderson of Kitchener, their children Tamara and Bryce; Matt and Monica Alderson of Waterdown and their children Ben and Sarah. Laverne is also survived by his sister in law Marg (Bud) Harris of Ilderton. Laverne is predeceased by his parents Clarence (1979) and Mildred (2003) and by grandson Daniel (1990). Also survived by sister in law Phyllis Hastings of Camlachie. Laverne farmed his entire life in Warwick Township and was a proud member of the Warwick Fire Department for 30 years. Visitation will be held at the FOREST CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Sunday, June 6th, 2010 from 1-5pm with Funeral Service in the chapel on Monday at 1pm.
