Obituary of Robert Capes

Capes, Mr. Robert "Murray" Murray Capes died peacefully surrounded by family at North Bay General Hospital on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, after a long illness with cancer. He was in his 76th year. Murray was the beloved husband of Mabil (Dunlop) of Powassan. A loving father of Marshall Capes of British Columbia, Colin Capes of MacKellar and Moreen Aultman (Bruce) of Powassan, predeceased by infant twins. He was the proud grandfather of Samantha, Deborah, Megan, Kerri-Jean, Kirstin, Matthew and Stewart and one great-grandchild. Murray is survived by sister Reba King (the late Gordon) of Petrolia and predeceased by brother Ellwood Capes (Ella of Warwick Village), and sisters Audrey King (the late Dalton) and Mabel Caley (the late Ivan). Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place at Wyoming Cemetery on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at 11:00 am with Pastor Fred Darke officiating.
