Obituary of Leonard Westerby

WESTERBY At St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, January 2nd, 2010. Leonard "Len" Gordon Westerby of Mississauga and recently of Wallacetown in his 64th year. Len recently retired from TST/Overland Express and was an extremely valued employee. Spouse of Jo-Anne Laszewski of Wallacetown and father of Tracy (March 2009), Gordon (Rosa), Owen and Monique. Dear grandpa to Cameron, Mikayla and Dorianna and brother to Carol (Kevin), Ron (Debra), Donna (2008), Harry (Wendy) and Arlene (Walter). Brother in law of David (Pam), Jeff (Lori) and Reneé (Paul). Len will be deeply missed by his parents in law Dave and Kathleen Laszewski and many nieces, nephews, cousins and "deer" friends and Rob and Jo-Anne. Special thanks to Dr. Knox, Dr. Ménard of Princess Margaret Hospital, Dr. Sharman of Dutton, CCAC nursing staff of Elfin County " Sue, Mary, Tammy and Cindy and St. Thomas Hospital. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Tuesday, January 5th, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted at the chapel on Wednesday at 2 pm with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Deb Dolbear-Van Bilsen officiating. Interment Rodney cemetery at a later date.
