Obituary of Cornelia Wiendels

WIENDELS, Mrs. Cornelia "Nellie" Passed away peacefully with family by her side, after enjoying an extra season with her family, on Friday, November 20, 2009, at the age of 87 years. Cornelia Wiendels (Verschueren) of Forest and formerly of Grand Bend. Predeceased by her husbands Cornelius van Dyk (1963) and Ben Wiendels (1992). Dear mother of Will and Sue Wiendels and Ed and Mary Wiendels, all of Arkona; Anne and Don Russell of Shipka, Francine Stewart and Richard Gillanders of Strathroy, and John and Brenda Wiendels of Grand Bend. She will also be deeply missed by her 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Also survived in Holland by one sister, two brothers and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the FOREST CHAPEL of Denning Funeral Directors, 9 James St. S., Forest, on Sunday, November 22, 2009 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Christopher's Catholic Church on Monday morning, November 23, 2009, at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
