Obituary of Annie Catherine Attridge

ATTRIDGE At St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, October 2nd, 2009. Annie Catherine (Kay) Attridge (nee Quigley) of St. Thomas and formerly of West Lorne in her 86th year. Born March 22nd, 1925 near West Lorne, the daughter of the late John and Annabel (Thomson) Quigley. Predeceased by her husband William Gordon Attridge (1984) and her son David Attridge (2008). Lovingly remembered by her son Danny of St. Thomas and her daughter Cathy of West Lorne. Cherished grandmother (Granny) of Ashe and Blake Attridge in Saskatchewan and Lindsay Attridge of St. Thomas. Also survived by her step children Jane Chute, Nellie Blain and Barbara Fenske and several nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Norm (Donna)Quigley of St. Thomas and Jean Moore (2007). Kay taught in the West Elgin area for thirty five years and was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Canada for 72 years. She was a member of Know-St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Dutton. Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel on Thursday October 8th, 2009 where a service will take place at 11 am. Rev. David Clements officiating. Interment Evergreen cemetery.
