Obituary of Doris Shea

We regretfully announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Doris Francis Shea (Cameron) of Forest on July 28th, 2009 in her 86th year. Doris is predeceased by her husband Robert Cecil Shea (1981) and by her parents Herman and Verna Cameron. She was the loving mother of Bill and Joan Shea of Forest, Beth and Murray Karr of Lambeth, Anne and Chuck St. Louis of Sarnia and David and Paula Shea of Forest. Doris treasured her grandchildren; Steve (Brianne) Shea of Forest, Kelly (Sean) Hutchison and Kim Shea of Michigan, Joe (Christa) Karr of Lambeth, Amy Karr of London, Jennifer (Andrew) Romhanyi of Markham, Nicole (Joe) Smythe of Sarnia and Mike (Natasha) St. Louis of Sarnia. Doris was blessed with eight great grandchildren. Dear sister of Robert (Norma) 2003) Cameron of Toronto and Sanford (Cathy) Cameron of Cambridge. Sister in law to Glen (Dorothy) Shea and Alvin (Iva 2009) Wilkinson. Doris was a beautiful quilter, her award winning quilts are cherished by many family and friends. She was a committed volunteer with the Forest Agricultural Society and a life member of the UCW and the Uttoxeter Women's Institute. Visitation will be held at the FOREST CHAPEL of Denning Funeral Directors on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9pm with Funeral Service on Thursday, July 30th at 1pm from the Forest United Church with Rev. Cathy Larmond officiating. Interment to follow at Uttoxeter Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
