Obituary of Evelyn MacPherson

Peacefully at Afton Park Place in Sarnia on Monday, June 1st, 2009 in her 98th year. Evelyn Elizabeth MacPherson (nee Holmes) formerly of Forest. Evelyn is predeceased by her loving husband Miller (1980). Evelyn is survived by children John (Evelyn, 1998)(Lynn, 2008) MacPherson of Paris, ON, Joy (Thomas, 1996) Russell of Sarnia, Grant (June) MacPherson of Mississauga and Lucy Watson of Warwick. Sadly missed by grandchildren Allen (Sophia), David (Rosie), Paul (Mary Ann), Carl (Lori), Brett (Caroline), Janet (David), Kirsten (Ian) and Jake. Great grandma to Tara, Josh, Rebekah, Sarah, Sarah, Andrea, Gabrielle, Christopher, Molly, Mathew, Kaitlyn and Garrett. Also survived by sisters in law Kitty Holmes, Wilma Holmes and Marlene Holmes. Evelyn was a proud member of the Forest U.C.W. for many years, an avid golfer into her 80's and a hobby gardener. Visitation will be held at the FOREST CHAPEL of Denning Funeral Directors on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009 from 7-9om with Funeral Service in the chapel on Thursday, June 4th at 2pm with Rev. Cathy Larmond officiating. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. Donations to the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
