Obituary of Jean Thompson

Peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 5th, 2009. (Vera) Jean Thompson of Forest, formerly of Strathroy in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Wm. Foster Thompson (1987). Dearly loved mother of Darryl (Sharon) of Glencoe and Craig of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Wendy (Sheldon) Hornick, Dane (Maggie), Kara, Robyn, Melissa (Ken) Harvey, Kathryn and Devon and seven great grandchildren; John, Jennifer, Monette, Daniel, Alexa, Kyley and Brynne. Predeceased by infant son in 1940, granddaughter in 1971 and brother Ross Wellington in 1997. Daughter of the late Lyle and Edith (Duncan) Wellington. Also surviving, one sister Janice (Ted) Boomer and sister in law Leone Wellington, and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at the Forest Chapel of DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Thursday, May 7th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9pm with Funeral Service on Friday at the Funeral Home at 11am.
