Obituary of Walter Babcock

Peacefully at Sprucedale Care Centre in Strathroy on Saturday, April 18th, 2009 in his 82nd year, Walter Harold Babcock of Strathroy, formerly of the Sarnia and Forest Area. Walter is survived by his loving wife Helen (nee Wills) of 60 years. Beloved father of Cheryl (Larry) Wilson of Watford, Joyce (Tom) McLaughlin of Corunna, Darlene (Mike) Andriash of Warwick and Rhonda (Terry) Derby of Strathroy. Walter is predeceased by parents Harold and Eva Babcock and by infant son Larry Walter (1950). Fondly remembered by grandchildren Shawn (Monique) Wilson, Shannon (Mike) Morgan, Meghan (Rob) Campbell, Michelle, Brian and Jeff McLaughlin, Ashley and Brent Andriash and Wes, Cole and Shelby Derby. Adored papa to great grandchildren Taylor, Nichelle, Mikayla and Brooke Wilson, Cole, Brody and Gavin Morgan and Narissa and Dylan Campbell. Brother to Ronald Babcock (Phyllis +), Kenneth (Grace) Babcock and sisters Mary Rose (Bruce) Annett and Ilene (Ross) Annett and many nieces and nephews. Survived by brothers in law William (Eileen+) Armstrong and Don (Muriel+) Howard. Visitation will be held at the Forest Chapel of DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS (9 James St. S. at Watt St.) on Monday, April 20th, 2009 from 6-9pm with Funeral Service in the chapel on Tuesday, April 21st at 11am with Rev.
