Obituary of Claire Taylor

Peacefully at Brookside Retirement Centre in Watford on Saturday April 11th, 2009, Claire Guy Taylor of Watford in his 94th year. Claire is predeceased by his loving wife Edith Taylor (nee Maidment) and survived by his children Barbara Michie of Malawi, Africa, Sandra (Wayne) Runnalls of Watford, Bob (Sharon) Taylor of Watford and Bill (Nancy) Taylor of Watford. Claire will be sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and predeceased by one grand child. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren. Also predeceased by special friend and companion for many years, Jessie McLachlan and survived by her children Ray, Lois and Roy. Claire was a proud and dedicated member of the Watford Fire Department, Watford Legion and the I.O.O.F. and long time employee of Polymer in Sarnia. Claire will be remembered as a true friend and a wonderful neighbor. Visitation will be held at the Watford Chapel of DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS in Watford on Tuesday, April 14th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9pm with Funeral Service in the chapel on Wednesday, April 15th, at 1pm with Pastor Fred Darke officiating. Interment to follow at the Watford Cemetery. Donations to the Watford Fire Department or the Watford United Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
