A Poem To Our Grandpa This pain is just to real, I have tried so hard to pretend that your still here, out of love and out of fear looking down upon us can you tell I want you near. I can hardly breath, I need to feel you hear with me. I want that place in your arms where I felt so safe, so calm, I was so strong. But its time to face the truth that my heart will always miss you and that I will never hear the words that last left your lips as I turned around I erased the fact that it would be my last goodbye to you. Now slowing down I look around and now have to deal with my childish fears and be there for the people you left behind, staying there by their sides I'll take their hands and hope to guide. Time will not ease how much we love and miss you and I want you to know I'll give my heart to those people who hold the memory of your beloved soul and protect them the best way I can knowing that we can never forget our past you will always be in our hearts and the memories will always last. I didn't get around to saying goodbye but I'll hold the memory of our last goodbye and with you by my side I'll fight and defend until I see you again. Grandpa we miss you and we will always love you, Dakota & Miranda

May the peace rest in you Grandpa. We may not be able to do what we used to do in the summer...like ride the four wheeler, help you in the barn, gave me a snapping turtle shell, squirrel tail. My Beloved Uncle and Godfather, I had the pleasure to have you in my life. You mean so much to me and I cannot believe that you are gone. We always shared a very close relationship. Not too many Uncle's could ask their neice "Hey Baby, what's shakin'"! I wish that I could hear that just 1 more time. You knew me well and your little smirk and laughter will forever remain within me. I have so many pictures and fond memories of our time together in BC along with your other 2 brothers. You were so funny. We would all walk along the ocean (countless times) looking for starfish and crabs. And, yes, we found many! Julia was so happy and she too loved you, more than you know. I remember the one day that you suggested a restaurant for lunch. I questioned it, not really knowing where you were taking us. But, that was probably the best fish dinner that I had ever had! You knew. We were all so full afterwards that we could hardly walk back to the car. And Mark, or as you called him "Potato Head". He thought you were the cream of the crop. You's 2 would have so much fun picking at each other (all harmless fun....he misses you too. It saddens him that the one relative of mine that he adored is now gone. Boy did you guys click! Still, to this day, I can't figure out how you came up with that nickname for him. It makes me laugh! Now, you are gone and we are left to suffer the loss of a great man. A man that left a very deep impact in our lives. We will miss you terribly but will NEVER forget you. We love you, we mourn you and now we are going to celebrate your life......as hard as it is going to be. Forever Yours, Your Niece and family, Annette, Mark and Julia Sherbourne xoxoxo

Uncle Simon , Not only were you my uncle , you were my godfather and friend . We shared some common interests such as fishing , woodworking and a country lifestyle . I will always remember your good humour and having visits with you and Aunt Shirley . I still have the many hostas planted around my home that you and Aunt Shirley gave me and they will always give me memories for years to come .I will deeply miss you . Dennis Abram
