Obituary of Elizabeth Okolisan

OKOLISAN Passed into the arms of the Lord, Elizabeth Okolisan on January 9th, 2009. In her 86th year at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. Born in Yugoslavia on Feb. 2, 1923, she will be dearly missed by her loving family and many friends. Predeceased by her parents Florence and George Cipu Sr., her mother and father-in-law Rozina and John Okolisan Sr., her brother Andrew Cipu and her daughter-in-law Sylvia. She leaves behind her family who will always remember her as a truly loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Husband John, three children, Steve, Ken and Bonnie and Bill and Kate, seven grandchildren, Tracey and Jason, Jeremy, Patrick and Kathryn and Cassandra and Jeffery and five great grandchildren, Jacob, McKenna and Lukas Munn, Amanda Okolisan and Lily Okolisan. Sister-in-law Virginia Cipu, nephew George Cipu, nieces Vera Sudicky and Florence Vergeer and grand nieces and nephews Christopher, Jeff and David Cipu, Aron and Arik Sudicky and Jessica, Matthew and Emily Vergeer. She is with her Lord now and will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and loved ones. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Tuesday, January 13th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Wednesday at 1 pm. Father George Sandulescu celebrant. Interment Rodney cemetery.
