Obituary of Margaret Lester

Margaret Lester (nee Brandon) died peacefully at North Lambton Lodge on Tuesday December 30th, 2008 aged 92 years. Dearest Mother of Mary Overton (David) of Camlachie, Ron Lester of Cambridge and Bob Lester (Mary) of London and loving sister of Marion Johnson of Forest. Predeceased by husband Gordon (1991), son Jack (1993), brothers Bill, Tom, John, Jim, Stewart, Alex and Oliver and sisters Allison and Amelia. She will be missed and fondly remembered by 8 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS-Forest Chapel (James at Watt St.) on Friday, January 2nd, 2009 from 5-8pm. Memorial Service will take place at St. James Presbyterian Church in Forest (19 Main St. North) on Saturday, January 3rd at 1pm with Rev. Joanne MacOdrum officiating. Interment to follow at Bethel Cemetery. Donations to the St. James' Presbyterian Church or North Lambton Lodge Ladies Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.
