Obituary of Nellie Butler

BUTLER Peacefully, with her family by her side, Nellie (Squire) Irene Butler passed away in her 96th year at Babcock Community Care Centre, Wardsville on December 27th, 2008. She was born in Saskatchewan and moved to Ontario at age 4. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Joan and husband Don McPhail of Wardsville and son James Butler. Beloved "Gram" to Rick, Gail, Kevin, Paul, Dan, Tim, Mick, Marie, Cameron, Dave, Ed, Patti, Cheryl and Steve. Great grandmother "GG" to 19 great grandchildren. Nellie was the last member of a family of 10 siblings. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd (1967), sons Don (1977) and Ken (1991) and daughter Rena (1988). At her request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be conducted at the Rodney Chapel, 212 Furnival Rd. on Tuesday, December 30th, 2008 at 2 pm. Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Interment Evergreen cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
