Obituary of Bernita Butt

Peacefully at the Norman Site of Bluewater Health in Sarnia on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008, Bernita Lois Butt (Bish) of Forest, age 75. Loving wife of Eric Butt of Forest for 51 years. Devoted mother to Lori Allen (Jim), Noel Butt (Susie), Alison Delmage (Todd), Katy Dobroski (Adam) and Sara Scott (Randy). Bernita cherished and delighted in her grandchildren, David, Neil, Jonathan, Dana, Nicole, Jessica, Mavis, Sam and Jack. Dear Sister of Elaine Christman (Calgary, AB), Donna Oberg, Wesley Bish and Doug Bish all of Forestburg, AB. Predeceased by her parents Tyne and Sarah Bish; brother Austin Bish; sisters Gladys Kemmis, Goldie McCallum and Phyllis Higgins. Bernita was born and raised in Forestburg Alberta, moved to Sarnia and was a graduate of the SGH Nursing School, class of 1954. Bernita worked at several locations during her nursing career including Ste. Agathe, Niagra Falls and many years at Trillium Villa in Sarnia. Visitation will be held at DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS- Forest Chapel (James St. S. at Watt St) on Friday, December 5th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9pm with Funeral Service at Christ Church-Anglican (20 Main St. S.) in Forest on Saturday, December 6th at 1pm.
