Obituary of Elsie Doan-Brown

Peacefully at North Lambton Lodge on Saturday, November 22nd, 2008, Elsie Louise Doan-Brown of Forest, age 86. Elsie is predeceased by her loving husband William Doan (1988) and survived by loving husband Floyd Brown. Cherished mother of Thelma (Skip) Tyrie of Ottawa and Bonnie (Ben) Bennett of London. Elsie is predeceased by her son Bob Doan. Also survived by Floyds son Glen Brown. Dear sister of Tom Classen (Barb) of Petrolia and predeceased by 2 sisters Grace and Margaret and 2 brothers Ron and Ed. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Elsie was a past president of the Forest Legion Auxiliary and very active in the Christ Anglican Church ACW, Choir and Altar Guild. Funeral Service will be held at Denning Funeral Directors-Forest Chapel on Wednesday, November 26th, 2008 at 2pm with visitation 2 hours prior (12-2pm). Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery in Forest. In lieu of Flowers, donations to the Christ Anglican Church in Forest or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
