Obituary of Betty Humphries

HUMPHRIES At St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, August 21st, 2008. Betty Humphries (nee Roach) of Dutton and formerly of West Lorne in her 80th year. Predeceased by her husband Arthur in 2000. Loving mother of Vern and his wife Barb of West Lorne and Susan Schweiger and her husband Frank of Moncton, New Brunswick. Betty will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Karen, Kevin, Michael and Lara and Laura. Predeceased by her parents Vernon and Louise and siblings Earldon, Kenneth, Verne, Bessie, Francis, Neil, Dorothy and Maxine. Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel, 202 Main St. on Sunday, August 24th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday at 11 am. Rev Canon Brenda Clark of Grace Anglican Church officiating. Interment Evergreen cemetery. West Elgin Legion #221 will conduct a memorial service on at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Four Counties Health Services, Diabetes Foundation or Bobier Villa would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
