I just read about the sad news in the Chronicle today. I was a caregiver for Jeanne Bain for the last few years of her life and Mary dropped over for a visit on a regular basis. It was always so good to see Mary and hear the life long stories of the 2 best friends. I grew to love both of them very dearly. After Jeannie passed, I would meet Mary in the grocery stores where she always greeted me with a great big hug that meant the world to me. She talked of Cathy and Janny all the time. My heart goes out to you both. I never got to meet you but the loss of your dear mother must hurt so bad. I'm going to miss you. Mary. Say "hi" to Jeannie!

It breaks my heart to hear about your Mom. She was a wonderful and sweet person. She always had a big smile on her face whenever I came over to your home, and she spoiled me with treats. I feel so blessed to have known her, your family, and especially you Cathy, as my childhood friend .

Dear Cathy and Janny;
I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I have very fond memories of your mom. She was always so welcoming. After all these years I can still picture going into your house to play. Whenever I am in Rodney I always look at hour house and the big garage with the “Taylor” name on it.
Your mom was very kind and welcoming and always had a treat for all of us. I’m glad I got to be your friend Cathy and got to know your mom and dad.
