Doyle, John "Jack"
Passed away quietly on January 9th, 2019 at the Chatham- Kent Hospice in his 93rd year. He will be dearly missed by his surviving family members. Predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years Betsy Scott Doyle (nee Anderson). Father to Ian Doyle of Kitchener, and Brenda Doyle-Emery of Blenheim. Father-in-law to Alisa Doyle, also of Kitchener, and Clifford Emery, of Rodney. Grandfather to Kaleb Koslowski and Elizabeth Doyle; Paige Emery, Nathan Emery and Kristina Emery.
Jack was the youngest of 3 boys, born to his parents Margaret and James Doyle on December 5th, 1926. Brother to James (deceased), William (deceased), Joan and Brian Peck and family; Terrance Peck-now deceased; Chris Peck (Betty-Lou), and son Mackenzie; Amanda Neil (David), and children Wesley and Meghan; Kevin Peck (Sheila); Helen Ellerby (Tony-now deceased), and children Nicholas Ellerby (Allison), and Diana Ellerby, and sons Billy (daughter Emogene), and Floyd.
Having served as a British Paratrooper, Jack often reflected on his time in the British forces with pride. He spent the last years of his life in the care of Brenda and her family. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, we would ask that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
