I was so very sorry to learn today (Sept. 17/18) of John's passing. John was a wonderful gentleman, a great baritone, and shared his musical talents with me in my first quartet in Sweet Adelines. I, along with many others, was a big fan of The Nighthawks, a world class quartet and never tired of watching and listening to them. My sincere condolences to Della and family.
