My dear Pookster, I'm at a lost for words to express how deeply it hurts that you are gone. You were my hot poker buddy, my ORFUS filing pal and my secret keeper. Your smile and contagious laugh still shines vividly in my mind every time I think of you. I was so honoured to meet your family on Sunday - and what a wonderful family you have. They remind me so much of you; they did you proud my friend, and I know how proud of your niece you would have been!
Now that your gone all I have left are the memories, but i'm so lucky to have so many with my work pal. All of us at ODSP are so fortunate to have had you in our lives no matter how long it was for. You were always there to count on no matter how big my favour was. You were the best of the best, a true gentleman.
Next time I'm at the condo I will think of you, and maybe do something crazy just in your honour... you will always be in my heart.
Until we meet again my pookster, xo

I had the great pleasure of working with Paul a.k.a. Georgie a.k.a #9 at the Hamilton ODSP office since Paul came to the office. He was always in a great mood even when the rest of us were down, he knew how to make you feel better. Such a warm and thoughtful man. I will truly miss our chats #9 but rest now because you are home. Our dear friend and angel. Until we chat again......#9 xoxo

Dearest Tante Herma and dear cousins,
We were shocked to hear about your sudden, great and incomprehensable loss. We send you from the other side of the ocean our love and sincerest condolences and wish you a lot of strength and courage to live on in this radically changed world - not for the better.
We remember Paul on his trip to the Netherlands when he was only thirteen years old, and understandably somewhat homesick, while he taught us to add marmelade on our peanut butter sandwich.
Let it be a comfort that Paul has not suffered.
With lots of love,
Your cousins Hans Paul, Babs and Brecht

So sad to hear about Paul. The Hamilton ODSP office has been shaken by this news. He was a kind person, generous with his time and always greeted people with a smile. I enjoyed listening to the funny exchanges between he and his friends at the office; always made me laugh. Wherever he is now, I hope that he can hear and feel what a positive impact he had on so many people. Peaceful journey Paul.

My dearest Paul - or Georgie as the group called him - otherwise known as “my king” - you were truly one of a kind. One of the most sincere, warm, thoughtful human beings I was ever blessed to know and work alongside. My life was enriched with you in it and I truly cannot process a world without your smile, friendship and candor. To the family of Paul, words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel at Pauls tragic loss. Our hearts go out to you and your family and know that we’re thinking of you all at this sad time. - “your queen”

Paul, I only got to officially work with you a few short months but had the pleasure of seeing you when I previously worked in Hamilton 2014-2016. I remembered you fondly and when coming back to work in this office was so glad to have such a warm greeting from you. In the months we did work together, you brought laughter and such a positive bright spirit everyday. When you left for vacation/retirement, a was sad to see you go knowing I wouldn't get to see that kind warm smile everyday. You touched so many lives and made such a grand impact on everyone here at ODSP and clients as well. I can only imagine how many lives you touched outside of this office. You will be dearly missed. Thank you for blessing us with your beauty while you were here.

I am devastated to hear of Paul's passing. I was hired by Ontario Disability back in April and Paul took me under his wing and could not have been more encouraging. He was an absolutely lovely human being. In his farewell card I wrote to him that I had only known him a short time but I, like all of his co-workers, had come to adore him. I am so very sad that he won't get to enjoy the retirement he deserved. Again, my heartfelt condolences to all of you on your loss.
