Obituary of Irene Smith
Peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham, on Tuesday, July 10th, 2018 Irene E. Smith (nee Hart) passed away at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Robert Smith for over 60 years. Irene will be missed by her daughters Karen Chartier (Marc) of Ottawa, Laurie Smith (Mark) of Wallaceburg, and Michele Hudson of Chatham. Cherished Grandma to Sarah, Alex, Tara, Jeffrey, Ian, Rachele, and Chantele. Irene was predeceased by her grandson Jamie, son-in-law Brad, and her parents Ernest and Nellie Hart. Irene will be remembered by her great grandchildren, extended family and friends, both in Canada and England. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
