Our heartfelt condolences to all family members and friends.
Dilia was truly a role model, a classy lady that enriched everyone's lives. We were always delighted with her Christmas cards every single year.
Frank had the pleasure of working with Dilia for several years and countless times would drive her home after work and undoubtedly she would always be so thankful. One day she brought a pop to work, to offer Frank, as she was celebrating her 30year anniversary date of arrival in Canada. She made this country her home sweet home in harmony with her portuguese roots.
Rest in Peace in God's Kingdom Dilia.

My sincerest condolences to the entire Duarte Clan. I was privileged to have known Delia and to taste her excellent cooking. She was an amazing woman and lived for her family first and foremost. She was a pioneer who came to this country not knowing the language and leaving behind her family and friends in Portugal. She worked hard throughout her life and had a passion for gardening well before organic vegetables became popular. Anyone who knew Delia knew there was a mountain of strength despite her soft-spoken ways. She always made you feel important and comfortable in her presence. Although she will be sadly missed, she left a strong legacy for her family to uphold and she will live on through their vibrant memories of her. Delia will be met with open arms in the kingdom of God and will start her new life with joy and zest leaving behind all the health struggles she encountered in this recent year.Let's all raise a toast to this remarkable lady and be thankful for the joy she spread while she was here on earth. New Year's Day will always be a celebration in our remembrance of her. Rest in eternal peace, Delia!
