Obituary of Anthony Peter Schalk
Peacefully at his home in Poplar Hill surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018, the Lord called Anthony (Tom) Schalk home. Beloved husband of 59 years of Tina (Feddema). Loving father of Sandra and Clarence Graansma, Kathy and Arnold Ypma, Eric and Deb Schalk and Carolyn and Michael Boorsma. Proud and loving grandfather of Mark, Paul (Bethany), Jeff (Christina), David, Brad (Meredith), Andrea, Kevin (Janessa), Michael, Nikki (Kevin), Rachel, Joshua, and Aaron and great-grandfather of Trevor, Nathan, Andrew, and soon to be born baby girl Graansma. Special thanks to the Byron Family Medical Centre, the London Regional Cancer Program and Saint Elizabeth Home Care for their excellent care. Visitation will be held at Westmount Christian Reformed Church, 405 Drury Lane, Strathroy, on Friday, May 18th, 2018 from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m., where the memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 19th at 1:30p.m. Pastor Peter Hoytema officiating.
