Nothing was better than hearing Grandpa Norm tell a good memory. This charismatic story teller was one of the most interesting of men to listen to. Crack a black label and sit down!
This guy loved to hunt and fish and was incredible at it. His love for life was contagious and made sure everyone was having a good time. His pride and joy spouted from the farm then all life that was created on it. It was the sanctuary to Norms best memories, from life with his parents and siblings to the marriage of his wife gale and the raising of thier sons. Norm was always in his element.
A life should be celebrated and cherished. Norm was one of those men, who all should have had the chance to know. Norms personality shone in life, and one can hope it shines brighter with our lord and saviour.
Plant me some roses in heaven.
Love Jennifer

So sorry to hear of your loss. I have fond memories of Uncle Norman's great sense of humour, especially through his retelling of practical jokes. My thoughts are with you today.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Norm on a few occasions, on the farm. But he welcomed me (us) with open arms.
You didn't need to talk to him very long, to know how much he loved his family.
He was warm, friendly, and always quick with a joke or story.
This "city girl" will remember the tour of the farm, his patience with the many questions I asked, the way the fireworks had to be set "just so" and the conversations around the fire.
Thinking of you all during this difficult time.
Shawn and Bonnie

We were sorry to learn of the loss of your father and brother. Our family (Duncan and Frances McCallum) were neighbour's when we were kids. I thought Norman was the greatest dancer. We used to square dance in the basement of the school.
We hope you will be comforted by the love and support of your family and friends. Our thoughts are with all of you.
Sincerely. Duncan and Dorothy, Cathy and Arnold, Mary Howard and Frances McCallum.

We are honored and blessed to have known your father. He was such a down to earth man who truly enjoyed life on the farm. I truly enjoyed the stories that Norm would tell while we hung out in the shed to a nice cold beer. Your dad always made me feel welcomed. May he rest in peace.
Love Shawn and Deborah Power
