Obituary of Gladys Mary Simpson

Peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus, on Saturday, March 24^th, 2018, Gladys Simpson (nee Hilton) passed away at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Victor Simpson (2006). Cherished mother of Ruth Simpson. Gladys will be missed by her several nieces and nephews, both in Canada and England. Gladys was an English war bride, who met Victor while he was serving in England. After being wed overseas, Gladys settled in Chatham-Kent in 1946.  In keeping with Gladys’ wishes cremation has taken place.

Friends and family will be received at DENNING’S OF CHATHAM (519-352-2390), 4 Victoria Avenue, on Thursday, March 29^th, 2018 from 12:30pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:30pm.
