Peacefully, at Bluewater Health Services, Norman Site, Sarnia on Friday, March 28th, 2008. Joan Frances Gilliard (Watson) of Sarnia and formerly of Forest in her 73rd year. Predeceased by her husband James (1959). Lovingly remembered by her children Michael (Sally Teakle) of Sarnia, Wendy DeSchutter (Tony Gioiosa) of Bright's Grove and Tony of Costa Rica. Dear grandma of Tara (Mike) Petrus of Northville, Laura Gilliard of Strathroy, Brittany DeSchutter (Jason Shipley) of Brantford, Travis DeSchutter of Toronto, Kyleigh Gilliard and Josh Gilliard; both of Lowell, Michigan and Nicholas Gerdeman of Alto Michigan. Great grandma of Ella Petrus. Survived by her sisters in law Pat Watson, Doris Gilliard and Betty Beale. Predeceased by her brother Jack Watson. Friends will be received at the Ronn E. Dodge Funeral Home, Forest on Tuesday, April 1st, 2008 from 12:30 to 1 pm. Memorial service will follow at 1 pm. Interment of ashes at Beechwood cemetery.
