Ross Campbell

Obituary of Ross Campbell

To say he was a quiet man would be accurate.  To say he was a kind man would be an understatement.  Ross graduated from the Agricultural Program at the University of Guelph.  He lived his life proud and humble and knew so many people, or at least the farms they grew up on.  He travelled every road in Elgin County one hundred times.  He went at his own pace with everything he did and if you knew him, you knew that four of his favourite things in this world were his grandsons.

He left us suddenly, on Friday, October 13, 2017, at the age of 68.  Though we did not get our goodbye, he knew how much we loved him and we know how much he loved us.  Loving father of Nick (Julie) Campbell and Tjada Campbell.  Proud grandfather of Phoenix, Declan, Mason and Nixon.  Cherished brother of Ann and Karen.  Predeceased by his parents Clarence Campbell (1995) and Margaret (née Kovacs) (2016).  Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, October 28th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 12614 Furnival Road, Rodney.  Private interment of ashes in Cowal-McBride Cemetery at a later date.  DENNING’S OF RODNEY (519-785-0810) entrusted with arrangements.
