Obituary of Traves Stephen Atchison

Traves Stephen Atchison

We have been so blessed to call you our son and brother for 22 years(July 7th, 1995), but we are broken hearted that we must return you, Traves Stephen Atchison, to God's embrace (August 26th, 2017 at Miller Lake) Your friend, Jana Watson, who has become a part of our family, went with you to meet God. Traves is the loving son to Stephen and Joanne, best friend and brother to Julianne and Rob Gleadall, and Andria and Dave Gillard. Nephew to Doris Atchison, Henry Veens and Alana, Bernice Cadman, Wilhelmina Waters and Ron VanDamme, Vicki and Gerry Lynn, Marion and Kevin Somer, and Jerry and Susan Veens. Traves grew up and became close friends with his cousins, Rebecca and Chris, Michael, Ashley, Kelsey and Jeremy, Daniel, Cassandra, Hannah, Jonathan, Jeremy, Joey, Samuel, Reanna, Samira, Abby and Richard, Lindsay, Brandon, Amelia, Rachel, Nicholas, Crystal and Mark, Jeanette and Rob, and Graham and Becky.  Welcomed into heaven by his grandparents Basil and Eunice Atchison, Gerry and Irene Veens, Uncles Dwayne Cadman, Doug Atchison and cousin Curtis Cadman.  Traves loved music and life. He worked hard and played harder, always smiling, bringing life to the party, a friend to everyone.  Heaven just got a "ravestar".  Traves family has asked that if you wish, join them in wearing a concert shirt, and all the concert "ravers" bring your kandi bracelets to honour Traves's love for concerts at both the visitation and the celebration of life. Visitation will take place at DENNING'S OF STRATHROY, on Monday, September 4, 2017, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm & 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Celebration of Life to follow at Caradoc Sands (Golf Course), 24500 Saxton Road, Strathroy, on Sunday, September 10, 2017, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm. Family and friends are encouraged to share their stories about Traves & Jana at that time. For those who wish, in memoriam donations may be made in person at the funeral home, to the London Health Sciences Centre Burn Unit or to Northern Bruce Penninsula Fire and Emergency Services.
