Grandpa! What a heaven send you were throughout our childhood! I will never forget all of the mornings you, grandma, Jamie Francis, and I sat at the table every single morning eating Cheerios, with bananas and brown sugar. Or every night when you would kiss us goodnight, or take us to the beach. Or the Christmas I walked into the barn and my first pony had a big red bow on her neck. You're one of the most incredible men I've ever known or could have hoped to have had as an influence in my life. But as we go on without you now we remember your bright smile, infectious laugh, and warm love. Rest in the sweetest peace and keep your eye open for us. I love you, I'll miss you. Keely

Bill was a great man. I first met Bill as a teacher at North Lambton High School. I had him for my Communications class where we were to learn four different programs. I found one I really liked and he saw potential in me. I took that class for 3 years because he kept telling me to take it. It wasn't until the third time that I realized what he has noticed in me the whole time. I had no clue what I wanted to go to college for, but with many thanks to Bill, he pointed me in the right direction. My career choice was because of the motivation I received from him. He will be greatly missed.

In 1969 while I was in hospital having our son Tom, Bill helped Dick paint our house inside on Flamingo Drive from top to bottom so when I brought Tom home , the house looked brand new! What a treat for a mom and new babe.
Dick and I moved to Calgary Alberta in 1977 and have been westerners ever since but you never forget wonderful acts of kindness.
