Obituary of Cherie Bowering

Peacefully, at home, on Monday, May 29, 2017, Cheryl “Cherie” Rae Bowering (née Sutton), of West Lorne, passed away at the age of 63.  She will be missed and forever remembered by her loving husband, Paul Bowering and son, Jesse Bowering.  Step-mother of Beth Glover (Darryl), Amy Bowering, Joel Bissonette and Matthew (Andrea) Bowering. Cherished daughter of John and Della Sutton.  Survived by her brother Brian Sutton (Kelly) and sister-in-law, Cindy Bowering.  She will be missed by 5 grandkids, nieces, nephews and her special cousin and friend, Jo-Ann Gawinski.  Cherie was an avid and talented textile artist and enjoyed photography and horse back riding.  Relatives and friends will be received at DENNING’S OF WEST LORNE, 202 Main Street, West Lorne (519-785-0810) on Thursday, June 1st from 7-9 p.m.  A private family Service will be held at Grace Anglican Church, West Lorne.  A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Cherie.  Donations by cheque to the West Elgin Daffodil Society-Auxiliary Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
