Dear Patricia, Linda, Jean, Cliff and families,
I am so very sorry for your loss, my sincerest of condolences. Know that I thought the world of your Mum! Shirley was terrific and sooo organized…a girl after my own heart! With this sentiment in mind, I have to tell a funny story that will stick in my mind forever, here goes…
A week or two after I bought and moved into Shirley’s custom-designed house, (across the road from Cliff and Wanda’s), Shirley kindly offered to stop-by and help me take the glass windows out of the Florida room and replace them with screens. After we got that job done, Shirley washed her hands in the bathroom off the garage and then came bolting out of the loo, like she’d been shot out of a cannon saying ‘Heather, where’s your tape measure?’ Seems that she had forgotten to include her clever and well designed cabinet concepts above the washer and dryer in the laundry room of her new home in Glencoe!
